In rustic places it pays to be a tough guy. My freind and Host Rob has lots of Tough guy stuff so I thought I would do a New Zealand tough guy pose today. I felt pretty tough today after grinding through a swim workout with New Zealand’s bright young talent Tony Dodds (10th at ITU U23 Worlds last year). He left me in his wake ripping around the pool in sub 1min10’s per 100m but I was happy to make it through the session in one piece. Tony and another top Kiwi Nicky Samuels will keep me honest in the pool the next few months down here. Gotto toughen up for my big gear hills tomorrow too… 10min repeats up the Crown range!! YEEEAAAHHHH… getting into it now!!
